Pengwin (Master's Thesis)

Motivated to reduce an individual’s carbon footprint through waste disposal, I took a deep dive in the realm of behavior change. Pengwin is an interactive toy for kids age 6 - 10 that teaches them to sort and reduce their waste at home and educates them on why it is important to do so.

A mixed reality education platform, designed for teachers, that aims to make concepts of space education more tangible for elementary students. We were recently awarded a fellowship by Verizon and NYC Media Lab as a part of the Connected Futures III Challenge under the Social AR/VR category.

Da Da Ding

No solution is worthwhile without having research to back it up. While working at Wieden + Kennedy, I worked on a year-long research project for Nike to understand the relevance of sports for the Indian youth. A project that made me realize the importance of going beyond arranging post-its in four walls of a room to interact with people.

The Combinator

I love exploring new technology, and as designers, I believe it is our responsibility to think about its consequences. The Combinator is a speculative fiction exploring the implications of genetically engineered (CRISPR) babies on our social structures. It was recently featured in Daniel Goddemeyer's talk at the Interaction18, Lyon.

Uplift

Uplift is a remote consultation service for senior patients that aims to reduce the on boarding process of medical marijuana in California. This project taught me how to find focus and direction in a broad research area.

Epitaph

I have had the opportunity to go beyond screens and work on an interactive mixed media art installation that communicates a future history of trees through sound and lights. Epitaph was showcased at the SVA Gallery as a part of the exhibit called Murmurs From The Planet Earth.

When people come together, incredible things can happen. To solve the specific problem of women feeling unsafe at night, I launched a crowdfunded project to create self-defense jewelry for women worldwide. This campaign for successfully funded by 60 backers on Kickstarter.
